Is it wise to file bk for just 13,000 in debts. My husband just has a default judgment rendered against him. The ca that won the judgment will not make reasonable payment arrangements. I feel our only recourse will be bk

First of all check whether you're eligible enough to file bankruptcy. If you do then it depends on you whether to file bankruptcy or try some other debt solution to come out of the problem. You may also give a try to debt settlement. As far as I have heard, debt settlement (http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/debt-settlement.html ) is a good alternative to bankruptcy.
