Iam 19 years old, here is my story...

Throughout high school and after graduation i was very good with credit, i was taught the best from my own parents who are successful in business. I had a paid off car, a few paid off little loans i took out that my parents co-signed and i paid off while in high school as well to help gain a good credit score while young.

So, its after High School, I bought a new car project, a honda civic and purchased and built a very good motor for the track for it. I had a full time job and by winter after graduating i had it paid off. In the mean time i did also have a 2,000 credit line with Wells Fargo that i paid in full every month. Everything seemed fine.

Until i met a girl, that was controlling. From there everything went down hill. I event went out of my way and got financing for a 04 Audi A6, with a very low payment for she could have a nice car as well.

now here i sit, December of 2007. Almost a new year. With over 20,000 worth of debt, 2 repo's, and spending all of my paycheck each pay period on bills. Dont get me wrong, i work a excellent job! I work as a IT Professional, i got the job without even needing a degree. I live at my aunt 'n uncles, so dont pay rent. My father was nice enough to barrow me a car even.

But i dont see it going anywhere, every pay period i throw down everything that i can. I don't race anymore, i don't go out with friends much anymore, i live a pretty boring life for the most part!

How did you guys coup with this? I do receive minor panic attacks at times i have started to notice. I got about 10 delinquent accounts, only 2 accounts are in good payment history. I have about 3 judgments, and life just seems really bad-- I could understand if this is all debt that i wanted but unfortunately i did give into a girlfriends demands to much and ended up sticking myself with something i will have to live with for some time.

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

I didn't, i've tried consolidation programs and nothing worked. Iam very responsible with money and in the past have a 700+ credit score at the age of 18 even... If i could consolidate and just had 1 payment i wouldn't complain one bit!! My life would get back on track and I could finally go back to school and keep moving forward.

I think that Frog is right. Try and give it another shot. It sounds that you just hit a bump in the road and need to get back on the right track. Did they give you other options, have you considered contacting any of the companies that this site may have referred you to? You should try that.
