Gonna BK it.

I have an appointment next week with my attorney to go over filing a BK. Heck, I'm 58. My ex has shot my credit all to heck what with her getting the house in the divorce and being late on all the payments as well as being late on the 2nd. If I continue to struggle with these CC debt I'll be dead before anything is paid off. I just want to make it to 62...sell my biz and try to retire and live in some sort of peace and quite. I was fine with basically no debt till after the divorce. The CC's are charging me almost 30% interest! I'm not saying I don't accept some responsibility in all this but neither of them will really want to work with me. I just don't know if I could go through trying to negotiate any of the debts down. I'd rather just be done with it. I don't own anything so I've nothing to take.

I will say that I felt bankruptcy was my only option. I don't think it's as bad as alot of people believe it to be.

Bk is suppose to give you a fresh start...so think about that, nobody wants to declare bk but sometimes you don't have a choice. Good luck in whatever decision you make and know that you are not alone in this economical mess we are all in.
