Since we don't have any secured debts, I was thinking of filing myself to save the 4000+ the attry wants to charge. Has anyone done this and if yes, can you share pros/cons with me? Thanks Reny

Attorneys charge a lot more for a 13 than a 7 because there is a lot more paperwork and procedures to follow. If you don't dot your i's and cross your t's just right, the case can be dismissed ... and there is about 30 pages of schedules to fill out in addition to the actual plan.

You might be best to learn by example. Get yourself a PACER login (pacer.uscourts.gov). For 8 cents/page, you can lookup actual case filings in the BK court. Then you can see exactly how other people filled the forms out.
