I have some debts to pay off. But, they are not of any big amount. Can I still file bankruptcy to get rid of them?

Bankruptcy is a complex legal procedure. But the attorney fee is also there. Too much paperwork and rules. Lots of hassles. Settle your debts as soon as possible. You can call 800-DEBT-913 to explore your options. By the way, do you have secured debts or unsecured debts?

Don't go for it. If you have a small amount of debt you may choose debt consolidation to manage your debts, preferably the debt snowball method. If you have credit card debts you can try balance transfer method.
