How soon can I apply for a job?

Just attended the 341 meeting today. My wife is jobless right now. Should she apply for the job immediately or shall I ask her to wait till we get a discharge?

Have you file Chapter 7 bankruptcy or Chapter 13 bankruptcy? Have you included her in bankruptcy?
If you have filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, then ask your wife to wait. See, if she gets a job before the discharge and the total income increases substantially, then the bankruptcy trustee can push you towards Chapter 13 bankruptcy. In that case, both of you will be stuck with bankruptcy for 3 to 5 years.
