I am planning to file bankruptcy this year. I have not yet consulted an attorney. Before I hire an attorney, I have a few questions.
Where can I find an experienced attorney? How much do I have to pay?
I have a few joint debts with my spouse. If I file bankruptcy, what will happen to my debts and my spouse?

Talk to family and friends....everyone knows someone who has filed. Payments will vary.
If you file, joint debts with your spouse will rest on your spouses shoulders. The notation on the credit report could tank his score.

Hi! Bankruptcy is considered as the last resort to get out of debt obligations. So, think wisely before you file bankruptcy. However, if you have already decided to file bankruptcy, it's better to consult a bankruptcy attorney who can guide you through the entire process.
