Money for Bankrupcy

Why type of debt are you wanting to file on??? Payday loans?? Need more information...if these debts are illegal there is no point to filing.

Yes the major problem is the payday loans b/c all my other things are in a debt consolidation which i am ok with b/c it's really not that much and manageable.

However I've been receiving these harassing calls from a bunch of collectors (indian) saying i owe them money and every lawyer i talk to say filing bankruptcy will stop the calls, but these are scam calls so IDK what to do, they call my job non stop all day everyday...if it was only my cell I wouldn't mind. they won't say who the original creditor is when i call or give me any information just just say I need to pay by a certain time via western union/money gram...so i just stuck right now with all the calls...

Answer the question above - who were or are the lenders? It sounds like the calls are all scams to me and Bankruptcy will not stop calls from those that don't follow the law to begin with..

IDK who the lenders are they won't give me any information when I ask who is the original creditor, they just say an online lender, once some said Cash n Carry (which I never heard of). When I ask for something is writing they say they will send me something once I finish paying...I already know it's a scam...but I can't get them to stop calling my job...

Have you looked at your bankstatement to see who was withdrawing money????? Have you emailed them demands to stop calling you at work??? These sound like illegal loans which wont honor a bankrtupcy either!!

No on is with drawing any money...they only as for money via wire transfer...I can't email anyone b/c IDK who they are...as I stated before the people won't give me any information about the original creditor if there is even one...
All my old accounts are closed and/or ACH debits have stopped...I've asked them to stop calling me at work, but until I pay them something, that's when they stop...

They have to validate the debt - period! They are a scam - nothing you do will get them to stop - short of filing complaints with FTC maybe.. Don't pay them anything, they will more than likely just want more.. If they call again tell them you died..
