BK and federal job

Is there any negative impact to my job if I file chapter 13? I am a federal employee with very high security clearance and am afraid either my security clearance will be affected or might be put on "probation" . Please help if you have factual knowledge in this issue. Thank you

I filed bankruptcy and have a federal job with a security clearance - and have changed federal jobs since then and gotten new security clearances. I know of someone with a very high security clearance at a military base that filed bankruptcy. It is just important to disclose it when you fill out future clearance forms and answer questions honestly.

I have represented thousands of people in bankruptcy and as far as I know none of my clients had problems with their jobs as a result of a Chapter 7 or a Chapter 13. That being said my dad used to work for the government and someone in his office was fired when she filed for bankruptcy. They came in with security and removed her from the office.
