I live in Oregon. I have file bankruptcy last month. Can anybody tell me what exemption laws are applicable in my state - federal or state or both? What is the maximum homestead exemption amount in my state? Thanks for any help.

The homestead exemption amount in Oregon is $40,000 for a single debtor. The exemption amount for the married debtors is $50,000. In your state, only state's exemption laws are applicable.
