What does it mean when your Mortgate Company tells you the reaffirmation is on hold?

We had our Bankruptcy meeting on July 22, 2012. As of that time our attorney had not received any reaffirmation agreements from our 4 secured loans. I have been making these payments on time and when I called HSBC to make our August mortgage payment I asked if they had sent out the reaffirmation papers yet. The told me that the reaffirmation was put on hold and would not tell me any information as to why. What does that mean and why would HSBC put the reaffirmation on hold?

Since you are still in active bankrutpcy, they really cannot talk to you.
Talk to your attorney and ask him.
