Hi, I filed a chapter 13 a few years ago that was discharged after 1 year because our atty failed to file our payment modification plan. (we were never able to find our atty since!) My question is does the statute of limitations for the credit card debt start over again? Thank you, Oh, I live in CA.

I will suggest you to seek some legal advice. Since the payment modification plan has not been filed, the creditors will again contact you to pay the debt. In any case, after you make the payment towards the account, the SOL is automatically renewed.
Consult an attorney in this matter and immediately take steps to avoid any legal actions. Hope you will take care of this matter soon.
