I am in a dilemma. I filed bankruptcy last month only to know that I don???t qualify for Chapter 7. I was told that I didn???t qualify for it. How can it be possible? I have tried DIY means testing calculators that are available online 2 months back. The result showed that I qualify for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. I was so confident about this thing. Now I am hearing that I don???t qualify for Chapter 7?

A lot of websites offer online means testing calculators. However,most of these calculators are not up-to-date. Some calculators don't even give the correct result. I think, your case is an example of that. I think that the calculator in which you did the means testing was either not up-to-date or was not working properly.
