Considering Chapter 7 in Rockford IL

I have looked into debt consolidation and I cannot afford it. I looked into debt settlement, but the program is crazy. I have about $25k in charge offss and collections credit cards and medical bills. I do not own a house and my care is worth $5k and I owe $5k on it. Does Chapter 7 seem like a good idea? I even tried to get a loan to consolidate on my own, but couldn't get approved. I own very little else. Any good bankruptcy lawyers in Rockford IL?
