I have been in chapter13 for 5months now the plan is a100% payback with a 4.8 % intrest rate for 5 years. However I had to let my house go back to the bank. Will I ever see a good credit rating again?

Though you filed Chapter 13 and let your house go back to the lender, you will be able to improve your credit rating again. However, it might take some time to improve your credit rating. You should make sure that you pay all your other bills as per the payment plan given to you in Chapter 13. Once you get a discharge from your bankruptcy, you will have to handle your finances responsibly so that you do not fall into further debt. Also, you should try to avoid getting delinquent on your payments after you receive a discharge from your bankruptcy filing. Once you start making payments on time, you'll find that your credit scores are improving.
