bankruptcy excluding mortgage

I need an advice. I am planning to file bankruptcy in Florida but want to keep the mortgage out of it as I can afford to repay the mortgage loan quite comfortably. Can I do so? I heard that one can qualify for Chapter 7 bankruptcy only after passing the means test. Is there any truth in it?
You have to pass the means test first. Consult with a local bank
