I recently attempted to apply for a morgage and I had been discharged for two years, but some of the creditors under the chapter 7 still appears is it supposed to.

As Nelly has said, Chapter 7 bankruptcy will remain on your credit report for the next 10 years. However, with time, the affect of bankruptcy filing on your credit report will decrease. After a Chapter 7 discharge, you will have to wait for 2 years in order to qualify for a FHA loan. If you want to qualify for a conventional loan, then you'll have to wait for 4 years after the bankruptcy discharge.
