Unless you have lots off assets, the trustee probably won't collect any money from you.

Over three years before filing bankruptcy 7 I had no debt in anyway. I gave some money to my loved one and now bk trustee wants proof from my loved one what they did with the money I gave to them. In that time, I had no debt, paying all my bills and never thought that situation will come to this point. I feel like an "indian giver" when they say. I am very embarrassed and don't know what to do? I have no assets and my monthly income does not fulfill my necessities. Oh, by the way I live in California. thanks for your knowledgeable response.

It's my understanding that if you give away assets within 2 years of filing for BK, the trustee will look at those transactions and if necessary, will try to recoup.

It was before two years and then there was no debt at all in that time.
