The above says it all my brother and I are caught up in payday debt. We are both on disability and are feeling there is no way out. I was told I was Judgement Proof but cant figure out how to get out of the payday loans, all 6 of them I just signed up for counseling HELP US not to feel like criminals

Welcome tony :D You aren't criminalsjust in a sea of debt. And you have come to the right place. As far as judgement proof,I had heard that too. But my son,who is on disability,just had a wreck,and the jerk is suing him,so I don't know.There probably is a limit if they can sue you-but not sure if they can or not. Read other posts here,you'll find others in the same position,who are trying to become debt free.Good Luck...Karen

at the time I am judgement-proof, which means they cannot take my SSD or anything else as long as it meets the requirements. I do have a judgement that specifies that The companies that have sued me can take liens on any Property I seek to buy in the future, in my county. Who on disability can afford to buy property, its hard enough just to survive.
