Hello everyone I am new here. I just sign on today.
I see there are alot of people in the same boat that I am in, which is good to not feel like the outsider.

I have taken out 4 payday loans back in september. I was one week away from my wedding and had to pay off a few more things. I didn't have a choice.

The question I have is that I paid back one of them out of the 4 and I still can't seem to pay back the rest. I am so tired of them taking out lump sums of $75-79 every 2 weeks and the money is still not going down. They are getting paid funds on funds. I feel that they have recieved so much money from me and the payday loan back. Why should I have to keep on paying these snakes over and over again. I feel they accumulated all of their money. I am about to change my number to my checking account and I just wanted to get some feed back before I do so. I am so frustrated  I have been giving them my money since September. It has to stop. I can't afford to pay them back and pay my bills. I know I should of thought about this before I took out the loan but we all make mistakes and I feel that they got all their money already.

Thanks to all!!

Hi Parris

Welcome to the forums.

Well, you should have definitely saved some money if you would have closed the checking account some time back. The lenders are always on the move to recover the maximum money from the people. Call your bank and get your checking account closed.

Later, the lenders will try to contact you on not receiving money from you. You will ask them to produce the financial statement about the loan payments. If you have paid more than the debt account, you are likely to get a refund from them.

Keep everything documented while you deal with your lenders. They just forget things very quickly. If you record everything, you will have sufficient proof to put yourself in stronger side.

Right now, the first thing that you need to do is to call your bank.

Roxette

You stated above that if she gets financial statements that show she has paid more than the debt, that she may get a refund.

I have requested debt validation letters from all of my payday loans and not one of them has sent me anything yet. It has been almost thirty days and nothing. What do you do in this case? And what if they keep adding interest, etc to your account every two weeks?

When you don't get any written proof about your accounts and this item is hurting your credit negatively, you have the right to get it removed from your credit file. Get the help of your lawyer and send a letter to the company with this text.

Thank you for the letter. But what about the debt if you don't receive a validation letter? Thanks as usual Roxette

The same letter can be used against a collection agency who has failed to give you validation details. But before you send this letter, check your credit report if they have hit your file negatively. If so, then only it should be required to send the letter with purpose.

Suppose, if they have NOT hit with negative information in your file and you give legal attention for failing to validate the debt, you don't have anything to prove the damage they have done in your file. In that case, C&D letter is the alternative.

I am guessing if I have explained you clearly :D

When it comes to the Bank acccount I knew I should of closed it a long time ago,I was just doing the right thing not knowing it was the wrong thing and a rip off.On Monday I called my bank and asked them to closed the account, so I will hear back something today. I am going to ask the Company's for the statement. I already know all the companys got a least $500 each from me.

You all have been so helpful.
I look forward to speaking with you all on the boards!!

Parris

It's nice to hear from you today. Wishing you a very nice day ahead. :D

The receipts or the bank statement of this money paid is a very important proof about your payment made. Do keep it in safe place.
