Please explain your situation for a better understanding. The only thing that I can advise you at this point is to check the SOL period of the debt account. Maybe, the statutes have expired and you can just explain it that way in the court. You need to send letters in advance to the company that filed the case after confirming the expiry of the SOL.

You need to show up for court. You are being sued..At court you can make payment arrangements. If you don't show up, they will add on additional expenses and garnish your wages. You don't want this!

Follow finsfan13's advice, and show up at your court date. Bring all information you have pertaining to this debt. All payment stubs, if you still have them (perhaps your bank could provide you with this information), and anything from the collection agencies, or charged off information.
I'd also bring the summons, that has the wrong birthday. You can use this as a defense, saying that certain payments you made (or even if you did not make those payments), and they argue you didn't, your defense could be that their records are not in order because they even have the wrong birthday.
Because of the wrong birthday, you have a 50/50 chance of winning.
