Does any one know where this office is physically is located ? The number is 888-301-0053 x 4265. I googled the number and found allied interstate's main address on ripoffreport for Minneapolis,Mn. I sent a Cease-comm letter to:

Student Loans/Government
435 Ford Rd, 800 Interchange West
Minneapolis,Mn
I sent the letter Express mail (USPS told me it's the same as certified except faster - next day) I also sent this return receipt. I refuse to speak with any CA's. I'll deal directly with the original creditor.

What type of letter did you send to AI? You will pay to the company only after the company has validated the account in writing with proper info. You need to know if they doing this collection on you in genuine terms.
I contacted the Florida Dept. of Education initially for default
I contacted the Florida Dept. of Education initially for defaulted student loans to see if I can get them rehabilitated. I did all this via email. The woman at FLDoE emailed me back saying that "allied interstate" now has the account. She said they will be getting in touch with me. I replied back to her and said "I don't deal with any CA's - period" She said that she can't do anything about it that I'd have to petition the Director himself (FLDoE). The asnwer to your question is a Cease-Comm letter via express mail (overnight) which also has a receipt number and I had a RRR the USPS told me It'd be dlivered Monday 10/2. But I sent to Minnesota and I am not sure what office this person is at. It could be any of the 10 offices.
