I just received a letter from allied interstate collections in conjunction with Palisades Collection LLC from the original creditor Verizon California 1. I have not everydone business with any of the above companies. M credit accounts are all in good standing. Should I ignore the letter? I have not been contacted as of yet via the phone. What should I do? Please advise. Thank You.

Ask them to validate the debt. They need to tell you who the original debt was with and for how much. If you still don't recognize who it is, if it involved a purchase, ask what it was that was purchased. If you still don't remember the debt, ask them to check their records again because you don't recall having any debt with that particular company. Don't pay unless you know for sure what you're paying for.
