I sent Universal Fidelity a verification request for an old Sonic debt. They in return mailed me a copy of a contract, but did not address any of my specific requests. That has been 8 days ago. I haven't heard anything since then - any ideas as to what might be up with them? I am wondering why the phone calls have stopped.

Universal Fidelity assumes that the debt validation is done unless you dispute anything within the next 30 days on the given info. Since you are not satisfied with the particulars given out, send a dispute letter to the company requesting the specifics. They have dropped the ball in your court, now you'll have to roll it to their end. If you don't dispute within the 30 days period, the information provided to you will be found accurate and you have to make your payments within this time. Be informed about their next actions. They can file a court case anytime if they don????????t hear from you.

Well, then I will reply asking them again for the detailed info that I wanted - Thanks! Has anyone out there actually been sued by Universal Fidelity or have they been willing to work out payment arrangements?
