True Logic

The distinction between the do-not-call intent and the tenuous business relationship cited by a debt purchaser collection attempt nothwithstanding, I'd be curious just what anyone's legal obligation was to respond to these electronic calls. I became a lucky winner about two weeks ago, and I've received about ten of them to date. The caller ID always says "Private." The first calls referenced an "important business matter." The last two stated "This is not a sales call." Nothing about the calls stated who was calling, or the nature of the business behind the call, if indeed it is a legitimate attempt to collect a debt. It is only through googling and these boards I have an inkling of what might be up. What does FCC law say about anonymous "business" calls in general?
Annoying telephone calls
I sure your phone company offers this feature hwoever like this says then legitimate calls are bloacked also if there numbers are private. telephones are just plain annoying anyhow, thats why I am all cell on vibrate
Many businesses and private residences now use a service called "anonymous call rejection" to block calls that do not carry the callers' identifying information. Originally intended to reduce unsolicited calls from telemarketing, anonymous call rejection can also interfere with legitimate business
