Has anyone been actually sued by a lender? What happened?

Has anyone been sued by a credit card company or its' representive. If you did, how old was the debt and how much of the original debt did they get?

If I remember correctly, I had a civil suit against me by Capitol One a many years back, I ended up borrowing the money to pay them back but that was because I owed them the money. I used their card and didn't pay them back in a timely manner, I stood up and payed them back. Now if I don't have the cash for it then I don't get it and if I have to use a CC for daily living expenses then I am living beypnd my means.

If a lender is thinking to sue someone, he should be able to recover the profits minus the court costs and attorney fees. Lenders handle large number of files each month and it is not worth spending their time running to the court for a small amount.
