Oral contracts are 5 years
Promissary Notes are 15 years (Five years if promissory note is added to a bos)

and credit cards are 5 years

Can someone please tell me what the statue of limitaions are for Idenity theft In the state of KY

There is no limitation. Once you discover you have been a victim, file the appropriate paperwork (Police Report and FTC IDT Affidavit) with the CRA's, OC's and CA's, and keep monitoring your reports. Hang on to all your paperwork since you may have to send it to CA's and JDB's for years. Any account that has been identified as fraudulent must be permanently suppressed by the CRA's and OC's and CA's(JDB's) have little choice but to close and write off the accounts. Sometimes they don't and sell the accounts off though so it's a good idea to hang onto all you records. If you get letters and phone calls from CA's, respond with the IDT affidavit and police report and inform them any further attempts to collect are a violation of federal law.
