Legal mediation practice telling me I will go to jail

I have gotton called from a leagal mediation practice in fl telling me I will go to jail they will come to my house or job, if not paid by 5 pm I sent them a good faith payment and I dont have the rest till later can this happen if I live in a differant state from them
