A chinese lady just called me and attempted to ask for my boss. She didnt know her last name and when I asked what it was regarding....she hung up. It just rings and rings and rings.

Do you know anything about the person who called? Any name or a phone number?? If it is a collection agency, they need to send some documentation in writing before making the collection attempt. The Mini Miranda clause states that the person calling must clearly identity himself with the name of the company and the purpose of the call. Collect more information about this person making the call.
