I just got a similar call just minutes ago and a guy was on the other line looking for my husband and i told him they weren't availble and that i am going to be handling everything since he was in iraq. well the guy was like thank you and he hung up, so i decided to call the number back and a guy answered and i told him what was the deal about them looking for my husband and he just hung up on my quick like...im just glad i was able to see all these messages, i was wondering if there is any way of reporting this at all because these scams need to be stopped! i have read about some of u victims is there anything that can be done?

Depending on what state you live in it could be against the law to speak to you. And even where it is legal more times than not they will not gives a spouce information without the spouce's concent or a power of attorney.

Since it is his actual home number they have the right to call and request to speak with him, if he isn't there they aren't required to give you any information, such as leaving a message if they don't want to.
