this William Withaford guy called me again today..He said I have been waiting for you to return my call. I told him no actually you have not since at out last conversation you hung up on me! He said well actually we were having some technical difficulties that day ( ya I am sure!!!)..Then he gave me a 3pm deadline to come up with 655.00 and would not tell me who they represent except for US National bank and EP Processing. I told him I have never signed any agreement with either of these places and he said well he represents these guys and that is who is is collecting for and I have a 3 pm deadline. I told him well I want the name of the PDL because I was working with the police dept here and I now have his case # against me which I will be filing with the department along with his name and information so he needs to give me the name of the company he is representing since I am living in the state of Florida and they are not legal here. After that he restated that I have until 3pm to settle and he hung up on me again.

As a consumer, you have the right to ask for the debt validation from the collection agency. Make this legal move. Anyone in Bass and Associates cannot trespass the fdcpa law. Send a letter making this request.

When they call you next time, ask them to verify your information they have in their system. They should have your SSN# if they are doing legitimate collections. The creditors forwards consumers info based on which collections are done. It can be verified on the phone and the information should be sent through mail.
