Phone harrassment from the collection company

I keep getting calls to my home phone from this company looking for a person related to the previous owner of my house...which has been my house for over 5 years now. How does this company gets a phone number of a private residence that is no longer the residence of a person, and thus obviously a different phone number? Seeing all the posted messages makes me think you are doing something illegal...could be considered "harrassment" in your attempts to locate people. I called to try and resolve this issue and was spoken to in an EXTREMELY rudely manner by one of your phone reps...who then hung up on me twice! Besides taking a diction course so she can be better understood, she also needs some serious customer service training. I don't have her name, but the phone number she leaves on my VM is 866-342-9739. I want this issue resolved, and not by her, but by a manager or a supervisor. You can return an email to me with the number of a supervisor or manager. I want the harrassment and invasion of privacy to STOP.

and i am not so sure that anyone here does. but maybe we can help you get this resolved
first
you would need to call that number and ask them for an adress. mail them a certified letter stating that you are not the debtor and you want the calls to stop. After that, you will have the right to get an aty involved, because it is harassment.
