what happens if you do not pay the collection agency, what actions can they take. the reason i'm asking is because i cashed a bad check for a friend at WAMU using my account (i know its my fault), not knowing that the check was a fraud. after the whole transaction was done, i see that the balance on my account is negative the amount of the check. so i don't pay the balance since i live paycheck to paycheck. well, a couple of days ago, ER solutions calls me and tells me that i need to pay the balance. i tell the guy that i'm going to pay but that i'm unemployed at the moment. he goes on about how they need a payment at the end of the month and will i be able to make a payment. i tell him not likely since i'm unemployed at the moment. i don't have anything in my name so what can they do besides ruin my credit which is already ruined anyways?
