I am having a problem with them. Apparently they got my cfredit report and called me. Not an specific client.. they just sated what was there and made threats. Now they call wanting to "update" information. They mentioned my student loans and forberance and also a debt which is over SOL.

It looks like they viewed your credit report. Ask for their purpose of calling you. They should have one legitimate reason of doing collections. Get the details of the debt before paying.
