Last year i got really sick and was in the hospital, had to have heart surgery (i'm only 23) and now i have credit card debt up to my eyeballs, with now medical bills up to my eyeballs. Is there anyway you can help me if my bills have reached collection agencies?

Consolidators can negotiate with the collectors for a lower pay off. I have read many times that the collectors won't accept any payment plans offered by the consumer. They have to get themselves paid and this can only happen when they are able to collect on people's files. Don't worry. Speak with a counselor and discuss your situation elaborately. He will work out a better deal with the collector.
