    A ten year old debt!If it was me I would send full cease and desist letter. Search board under that letter name. This letter tells them you do not wish to deal with them and bounds them by law to cease all collection activities.Review my sticky at top of our collection agency board where you posted. There is a section called fair debt colection practice act with all the rules and regs that govern their allowed behavior.

I sent a validation & C&D letter via cert mail return receipt to Allied @ their corp. office in MN & their local branch in FL. They rec'd it in MN @ 9:24am today. At 12:32pm, the calls started non stop every half hour so far today. I have photographed my caller ID each time. My question is how long do I wait before calling my attorney & filing a complaint w/ the FTC & the FL Attorney General. My lawyer says let it go a little while to let them completely hang themselves legally. And to whoever it was that suggested the 1 key on the phone when they call, thanks! My hubby has had a blast BLASTING their eardrums when they call-LOL.
