The $ 570.00 they are wanting is not at all in the letter.
The letter I received from them was the same. It just said that

They will most likely not validate the date, or at least not in the way they should. Have you sent them any payments yet via money order, or are you still trying to get them to agree to anything?

No matter, if they are not providing you the complete info, you should cover your part in every legal way. Once they receive your DV letter, the burden of proof falls on them, not you. They can????????t continue their collections and you don????????t have to send your money until the information, you requested is put on the table.

I have not sent any money to them until I sent a validation letter. I sent then certified/returned receipt. Today I got the returned receipts back. Wonder what happens now?
