allied interstate saying i gave them wrong checkin account #

this people at allied interstate are just the rudest people...i'm trying to make my first deposit to them of 250 dollars 2 weeks ago and i gave them all my account information ...the guy calls me back and yells at me saying i gave him the wrong account number...i must have repeated the account number again to him about 15 times and says thats the account number that i gave him before so he tells me to go to my bank and ask them why they can't locate the account so i go there and they located a transaction that they tried to make through there routing number but they told me that allied interstate entered a wrong account number...so i call allied interstate back and asked for the guy i usually talk to but said he was out at the moment...so i explained to the guy that picked up the phone that my bank says that u guys are entering a different account number than the one i gave them...so he told me to repeat the account number again and i did about another 10 times...he said he was going to try to run it through again...few minutes go by and the guy calls me back saying that he read his friends notes and asked me what this other account number is ...so he read me the account number and i told him that's definately not the number i gave him...i don't even know where that number came from...then he yells at me saying well that the account number you try to give him the last time i was like no it's not..he even read the account number i gave to him and i was the same one i gave him...so how is he going to try to tell me that i gave him this number and yelling at me making me look like the idiot...so he said he'll run it through again this time with the account number that i gave him a million times...so hopefully this goes through i won't know probably until tomorrow because it's the weekend...i hope they don't call me again saying i gave them a wrong number...i'm just trying to pay this debt off why are they making it so difficult...making me look like i'm trying to give them wrong account number to avoid paying if that was the case i wouldn't give them my address and work information and 2 referels to keep in contact with me..and i definetly wouldn't be calling them back...why don't they just go back and listen to there recorded conversation with me the last time they called to see that i didn't give them a different account number instead of just blaming saying that i did i know what number i gave them i'm not an idiot...i can't stand these people...just trying to make a damn payment and they have to treat me like sh*t and yell at me for it...well thanks for listening

While it is quite possible that some offices of AI coulod be shut down, the student loan division just had its DOE contracted extended. Thus, you stop making your payments, you find yourself being garnished. Not particularly good advise from the poster, at least IMHO.

You may think that it is not the best advice, but that is all it is, Advice. We are all adults, and choose our own paths based on the options given to us. My apologies if one takes my advice and goes with it, without researching their own circumstances.
