Do you want to have a laugh and a half and get a better understanding of the kinds of people debt collection agencies employ? Just go to MySpace.com and type in any collection agency's name and see what comes up. WOW!

Nothing surprises me about collectors. I do feel like there are some legimate collectors just like we have on this forum. Ari, FYI , for example but the biggest majority are something else. KYSIDE38

I prefer to call them "dregs."

Maybe I should add them as friends and then bulletin about their violations of the fdcpa.

Hell, I searched my old employer on myspace, to discover that one girl had the first and last name of a debtor in her blog. I wouldn't mind tracking him down and letting him know this. There's no reason he shouldn't be compensated for that, and no reason that girl should be in collections.

Edit: Did a search again, unable to find the blog. At least the debtor doesn't have that personal info plastered across the web anymore.
