ive got palisades collection llc comming after my wife for money for an at&t account that i have called on and it says its in zero what can i do?

Send a debt validation letter to Palisades. Also send a letter, return receipt, forbidding phone contact-you will only communicate via mail.

Obtain her billing history directly from AT&T, if you can. It is not outside the realm of possibility that your wife still owes this money. If the debt was sold to a collection agency, AT&T could have zeroed out her balance, as it is no longer payable to them.

There are several topics on this AT&T and Palisades collections in this forum. Many people have disputed the items sent to Palisades because of wrong account information collected from AT&T. If AT&T shows you no balance, you don't need to pay anything to Palisades. Get the account validated by Palisades to confirm about their legit collections.
