como law firm trying to garnish my wages

hi.. i wrote a bad check out to subway then it got turned over to como law firm.. i included this into my plan with t&c.. como law firm mailed me papers this week saying there about to garnish my wages.. i got no notice of hearing or nothing.. what should i do?

Check the laws in your state. Some do not allow for wage garnishment. Additionally, verify they actually have a judgment against you. If not, the threat of wage garnishment may be a violation of the collection laws.
