Folks. Here is a little bit of info that was even the law in 1932. Illegal contracts are VOID and UNENFORCEABLE. Just so anybody thinks I am talking nonsense here is the law McMullen v Hoffman 174 U.S. 639 654 . This law way back then recognized the common law principle that a court will not enforce illegal contracts. If payday lending is prohibited in your state they are doing ILLEGAL contracts. Like you said, Plain and Simple. Why is it so hard for these places to figure out that if they're not licensed in your state, they're operating illegally? End of discussion!
