Anyone know if I can record phone calls with CA's without them knowing?

There is an eHow article on this: How to Record Cell Phone Calls. It shows how to do it step by step. Link at end gives state by state laws. Appears in most states it is legal as long as one party knows.

Thank you, NASCAR Devil!!!

Forgive me for my ignorance, but does that mean any correspondnce they send acknowledges the right to be recorded? I know in Cali once the judge threw the recording out - stating that they were not made aware of it and when I showed him the correspondence letter and return receipt, He responded that is as low as their tactics. My lawyer responded 1 good turn deserved another. HA,HA!

Also should I include the recording notice on my email signature to make sure that no matter how we communicate they have been made aware of it being recorded.

I wouldn't communicate by e-mail at all and once you add that to your initial DV letter, that would be the only time I'd inform them. Remember, you're in a 1 party state and you are doing them a favor by even adding that. Beyond that, talk to them all day long, CA's love to hear themselves talk and they will screw up and screw up big. Get yourself a few violations on tape and then sue them.

Then I can use the money to pay off his valid debts right? Also, can I sue multiple violators at once or do I need to bring suit individually?

I can't beleive all the information I have gotten from people in here. I just think until recently I was paying for this info. Thank you all for this site.

I have a bible study partner that comes over once a week that thinks people are just out for themselves now in these times.

I need to give her a hug and let her know there are still people in this world who care enough to help one out in their time of need with no prejudices or alterior motives in mind. For some reason the Dukes of Hazzerd themesong just popped into my mind. C'mon everyone think about it - oxymoron- I know but still funny.
