Anyone know if these people are "alright" Are they bullies? Can they collect debts that they bought from credit cards from any state? I owe them $20,000. I think that is alot of money, but Im not sure what to do.

They can collect for a debt on behalf of the original creditor. They must be licensed in your state before doing the collections. Make them validate the debt in writing under the FDCPA laws. This should be enough to prove about their genuine collections.
