to find when the actual last activity took place on credit card accounts? I know some of mine are over 3 years old and i need to confirm.
Also, does SOL apply to the state where you opened the account or where you are currently living?

In my understanding of sol,since you must be sued in your own jurisdiction it would be where you live. The best place to find your dates of first delinquency is to call the original creditor. If that is not feasible,then call whichever credit bureau is reporting and ask them what is the correct date.

I believe cajun is right. Debts such as credit cards, the SOL applies where you are living I think. Others, such as bank loans, etc. the SOL applies where the loan was made. Not to mention, if they were to sue and win in another state, they would also have to go to the expense of moving the judgement to the state you are now living in.
