AFNI - Charter

Another question. Also on my CR's, there's one from Medicol - a medical CA based in Greenville, SC. The first delinquency is 4/2000 - so obviously the SOL has expired. Should I send them a validation letter as well or let it "fall off" my CR this year?
Thank you.

On Anfi,do a dispute with the credit bureau. If they verify, they are in violation of the fair credit reporting act. In your written dispute, make a copy of documents sent to Anfi and send it with your letter. Make sure they get a copy of green card you sent saying they have it. On the second one,I would send a dispute to the credit bureaus as obsolete. They may remove it early.

I did dispute this for afni with the CRA's. They came back as "Verified". Even though I demanded that they send me verification with in 30 days, they have not.
Send a follow up letter to the credit bureau with all the copies
Send a follow up letter to the credit bureau with all the copies. You have the rights to ask for the results of investigation from the bureau when you disagree to a certain item placed in your file. Are you in contact with the original creditor for getting this item verified?
Wait for the second item to fall off from your credit report. The CA will be stalking to make you a small payment or sign an agreement. At this stage, this item is too late to be taken care of.

That's generally always the case with CRAs in this situation. The CRA just asks the collector, the collector says, "yes this debt is theirs", the CRA tells you if is verfied.
