Under the federal laws, allied interstate has to show proof of the debt in writing. Ask them to validate the account and until it gets done, they should not call your place. Make them aware of the FDCPA laws and fair collection practices.

If they don't stop their calls, check the laws in your state and start recording the phone calls. Consult your attorney about filing a class action lawsuit against them. They will have to pay for the damages.

You will need to send them a debt validation letter as Bony said. Make sure you send it via certified mail, return receipt requested, that way when they get it you will know and you will have record that someone signed for it. If they don't validate it, they can't collect it.

allied interstate just like harassing people because one time they kept calling my house for someone else and kept demanding that i knew the person they were calling for so i starting being rude with them and kept demanding to speak to their supervisor and telling them i i told them that they had the wrong number and demanded them to take my number out of their calling system so finally about 2 months later they stopped calling. allied interstate just don't know when to stop....
