I sent a message earlier but unsure if anyone recieved it. Hasd a call from bass and assciates this afternoon asking me to pay over $1200 for 4 oustanding payday loans. I was told i would be charged with fraud, other numerous ligations and would be sent to jail/prison. If i don't respond by 5 pm i would be issued an warrant and they know where i live and work. Anyway, back in dec 2006, i paid this "law firm" over $560 for one of the laons, again in jan for $560 for another loan. A month later i have westbury calling me to pay the same collection under fsm marketing which changed to fsm/cll or some thing like that. I told them i had paid bass and associates and said they never heard of that law firm or collection agency, i gave them their number. So now they are calling me again for 2 loans that i borrowed and paying by this payday. I called the payday loans directly so i won;t have to deal with this bass & associates. My wquestion is, is this company really a fraud? If i am paying them for my collections, i wnt to know who i am paying? How can i make sure i am payint the right company. I tried calling arrowhead investment but they referred mw to a "icollect" with a message that they'll email me back not by phone. I want to pay them back but unable to speak to anyione. ok kind of hard to read because of the caps but first things first-You will NOT go to jail, you did NOT commit fraud! This company is notorious for making illegal threats..Do not succumb to them! They threatened me with arrest months ago and here I am! Ok next thing...What state are you in? Who did you borrow from? How much did you borrow and how much have you paid to each company? This is important so taht we can determine if you do in fact owe anything or not!

I collect bought your account from arrowhead and I collect sent it to Bass to collect for them. You can call I collect at

Call them and ask for ext. 100 or if you get a recording just press 100 and you should get someone. They should have a record of what you paid and who it was for.

But no you won't be charged. Tell them to go ahead and take you to court, because I found out from my states DFI if they take you to court and they are not licensed in your state the judge will probably throw it our anyway. I have yet to hear of any of the IPDL people taking anyone to court.

So keep your reciepts and send copies of them by cert. mail with return reciept requested along with a despute letter. File a claim with Florida's AG, and your states AG.
