So I filed a complaint with the AG against GFSIL and here is the response I received:

The Consumer Protection Division reviewed your complaing against Global Financial Services. A copy of your complaint wsa forwarded to Global Financial Services requesting a response(I also received an email two days ago saying the company did not respond). I am responsible for investigating and mediating your complaint.

Your complaing was reviewed by a Deputy Attorney General for possible legal action. Based on our review, there do not appear to be any legal violations within our jurisdiction that we can pursue in court. We, however, attempting to mediate a reasonable resolution of your complaint with Global Financial Services.

In addition to participating in our mediation program, you may want to contact a private attorney or your local small claims court for possible remedies that are not within the jurisdiction of this office.

Upon receipt of a response from Global Financial Services, you will be provided with a copy of the response for your review.

Thank you for contacting the Consumer Protection Division. We will make every effort to assist you in resolving your complaint.

Is it me or are they saying there is nothing they can do?

They are telling you that they have no authority to prosecute GFSIL. Unfortunately, these type of responses have been quite common.

If you look at the contract you signed with GFSIL,you will notice it contains an "arbitration Clause", meaning you have to use their arbitrator, which is usually the National Arbitration Forum.

The most you can probably do is join this forum and warn others of the dangers of PDLS.
