on my credit report as a company that looked at my credit report in 11/2005, which is right around the very first time i ever even heard of these people! They called my brother looking for me. Anyway, can anyone tell me why they would be looking at my credit report as a collection agency? And could this be where they got thier number of $9,400 to collect on? Cause that's the Chase card that's been taken off of my report since it was NOT accurate!
Thanks in advance for any answers!
Ang

Maybe the collection agency is assigned to collect the debt from you when they did an inquiry. Call them and ask for the debt information they have from Chase. If they are unable to send you the details, they need to remove the entry from your credit. Inaccurate entries should be disputed immediately because they lower the credit scores by a great margin.

Are you saying that they bought this debt after looking at my credit report? And i've asked them NUMBEROUS times for validation to no avail but they have filed suit on me that i will be in court on May 29 for. Even though the thought of court makes my stomach sick, i've NEVER been in a courtroom in my life, i WILL definately be there for this one! I, myself, would like to see what they have to legally collect on this debt since they refuse to show me, maybe they will be ordered to show the judge.
